Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Yes, our initial meeting is free.
  2. We are a registered LLC and we are insured.
  3. We have a service agreement that is reviewed in our meet and greet.
  4. We operate river to river and center city to Oregon Ave.  We are flexible.
  5. We are willing to hang on to your key (in a safe at Doug’s house) or we are happy to use your lockbox.
  6.  Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these walkers from the walk completion of their appointed hounds.
  7. We kindly ask a minimum of 24 hours notice for walk/sleepover cancellation.  Walks/sleepovers canceled within 24 hours are subject to a $5 fee.
  8. We will review and request all of your emergency procedures, contacts, vets, allergies, etc during your meet and greet.
  9. We are certified in pet first aid and CPR.
  10. We provide pictures and email updates each trip or sleepover which will include any notable observed behavior and a potty report.
  11. Our ratio is 1:1 dog to human.  Unless you have more than one pup which we are happy to accommodate.
  12. We do reinforce known commands on all walks and/or per request.
  13. We carry: biodegradable poop bags, wet wipes, extra leash and a cell phone at all times.
  14. We require, per the city of Philadelphia, that your dog be vaccinated for Rabies.  We also STRONGLY recommend Distemper and Lepto vaccinations as well as some form of worm/flea repellent.
  15. We complete at least 2 full body checks on your pup each visit (arrival/departure).
